Is online bingo fixed?

All tombola games use the same Random Number Generator (RNG) and have been tested by an independent auditor, approved by the Gambling Commission (GB) and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner.

tombola ensures all games are put through rigorous tests before releasing it for customers to access.

While you can’t see the balls being drawn in real life, we use a RNG to pick the numbers for each bingo game, so they are fair.

Playing bingo online and playing it in a land based club are pretty much the same. Every player has a ticket and marks off the numbers on the ticket as they are called. The player that marks off all their numbers first is the winner. Along the way, there are often smaller prizes for crossing off one line or two lines on the ticket first. When you’re playing online bingo, you don’t have to worry about keeping up with the caller because our games can be set to mark automatically.

How to tell if an online bingo site is fair

Online bingo operators must have a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, and you can check for their certificate number for this on their website.

All games on tombola are randomly generated and cannot be pre-determined. We use an industry standard Random Number Generator to determine the results of each game. This ensures that the game is of the high quality that you would expect from tombola.

tombola continually monitors all games to ensure fair gambling, we are honest and consistent with the rules and our terms and conditions. Whatever the customer has bet on or the amount they have staked has absolutely no influence whatsoever on the number the RNG arrives at.

How is tombola different to other online bingo sites?

Well, where do we start? tombola is totally unique, there’s no one quite like us! All of our bingo games are produced in-house, so you won’t find them on any other site. We like to do things a little bit differently too, and we’re always adding more options and bingo promotions for you to play.

We have a really lovely bingo community that we’re really proud of, and that’s down to our friendly players and the super Chat Moderators that make tombola a great place to be.

Another thing that makes us really special is a little thing we like to call Safeplay. We want you to have fun while you’re playing, but it’s just as important that you stay in control too. You should never spend more time or money that you can afford when playing with us, so we have a range of dedicated tools to help you stay safe while you are playing with us.

How are the bingo numbers called?

Although there are several ways online bingo is different to bingo halls, the way the numbers are called isn’t one of them. It’s traditional that all numbers from 1-90 are associated with different phrases, and online bingo is no different.

Many of the traditional bingo calls were formed way back in the 1950s and ‘60s and are still used to this day. Classic examples include Legs Eleven for number 11, Two Little Ducks for 22, and Top of the Shop for number 90. If you’re set to manually mark, simply dab your tickets as your numbers are called out. If you use the auto dabber, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a natter in our Chat Rooms as the game plays out.
