For the best chance of overall success, 6th June is the optimum date to be born. This was devised by looking at 1,753 birthdays of successful people across 14 different categories. More birthdays fell on the 6th June than any other day of the year.
If you were born on 6th June, you share your birthday with:
- Billionaire Graeme Hart. The New Zealand businessman amassed his fortune using leveraged buyouts and deals mainly in packaging companies including ones that make cartons for brands like V8, Ocean Spray and Dole.
- Nobel Prize Winner Thomas Mann.Also known as Paul Thomas Mann, this German writer won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1929. His work is noted for its insight into the psychology of the artist and the intellectual.
Other birthdays of note include former no. 1 world tennis player Bjorn Borg, Grammy Award nominated rapper Vic Mensa and English actor and producer Jason Isaacs, probably best known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films.

For UK TV, whether you’re male or female, the overall best month for success is May. You have a 1 in 6 chance of winning a Best Actress or Best Actor BAFTA. For Emmy Awards you have a 1 in 8 chance if you’re born in August.
May or October are Top of the Pops
If you desperately want a Grammy, the 19th May is your best bet for stardom. Past winners born in this month include Lauren Hill, Stevie Wonder, Adele and Billy Joel. Or you can bag a Mercury Prize by being born on 17th October. Previous recipients P J Harvey and Badly Drawn Boy were born in this month.
It’s All Business For February and May Births
According to our research 4th February is the best day to be born for entrepreneurs, but with a closer proximity to Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day, it’s possibly better to be born in on 12th May.
Those born in February include Dragon’s Den favourite Duncan Bannatyne and founder of Lastminute.com, Baroness Martha Lane Fox. May boasts the birthdays of Sir James Dyson, creator of the Dyson vacuum as well as BrewDog co-owner James Watt and founder of Moonpig, the personalised greeting card website, Nick Jenkins.
