Pimms Trifle

As part of our Summer 2024 recipe series, we have a recipe that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and be the King or Queen of dessert. Perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Recipe serves: 4

Ingredients 

100g trifle sponges or savoiardi biscuits (lady fingers) 

130g strawberry jam

500ml cold custard

100ml pimms

500ml whipping cream

4 large strawberries 

1 chocolate flake

The method

1. Break sponges or lady fingers into 1/4 inch pieces and mix with jam. 

2. Place into glasses. 

3. Pour 25ml of pimms onto sponges and press down. 

4. Leave in fridge for a minimum of 4 hours. 

5. Top sponge with equal amounts of custard. 

6. Whip up cream and pipe onto trifles. 

7. Garnish with strawberries and crumbed flake.
