There is nothing better than putting your feet up with a good brew and a biscuit, and watching your favourite Loose Women panellists have a good old natter on the TV… apart from one thing: a trip to the ITV studios, to be a part of the action! Here at tombola bingo, we know that nothing beats the experience of watching a live show as it’s being filmed, so we hosted a competition on tombola’s Facebook page. We offered five lucky players the chance to win tickets for themselves and a friend to visit the ITV studios in London, all-expenses paid; all they had to bring was themselves! To be in with a chance of winning, all our players had to do was tell us who they would take with them to the Loose Women show, and why. The lucky winners were ‘alibongo35’, ‘babyckusa’, ‘mum2maisy’, ‘bubblymummy’ and ‘robbedxagain’, who donated his tickets to his bingo buddy and mother-in-law, ‘pollyannaxx’. The ladies set off with two of tombola’s chat room moderators, CM ‘aerobubbles’ and CM ‘toffee’, whose job was to keep everyone together and ensure they were enjoying themselves.
Our roomies were all very pleased to meet one another at the show, but with a jam-packed line-up ahead, there was no time for nattering just yet. Andrea McClean, Sherrie Hewson, Nadia Swalha and Linda Robson soon took to the stage, discussing everything from taboo parenting to having a marriage ‘back up plan’, but the topic that really grabbed our players’ attention was a debate about alcohol and what constitutes ‘drinking too much’ – a subject that sparked a little controversy amongst players and panellists alike! Following the show, the ladies got the chance to really get to know each other, as they ventured off for dinner before whizzing back across the capital to their hotel in Kings Cross. Krysta Storey, Social Media Manager at tombola bingo, commented: “The competition was an undoubted success and it’s safe to say that a great time was had by all. Some of the winning ladies have even stayed in touch afterwards in our tombola chat rooms.” It’s clear to see that all of our roomies had a fantastic time, and even made some firm new friends in the process – we love it when a plan comes together!
