This week, the gaming industry’s most creative and innovative e-gaming operators attended the eGaming Review Operator Awards, at The Roundhouse, London.
The event, which is now in its tenth year, has cemented itself as the most prestigious awards ceremony for those in the e-gaming industry, and regularly finds itself pencilled into the calendars of over 800 senior decision-makers from all over the country.
This year, the Awards were hosted by critically-acclaimed comedian, Ed Byrne, and saw tombola scoop the award for Bingo Operator of the Year – an accolade that they have held onto for the past three years!
Tombola felt that their win of Best Bingo Operator was borne of a combination of their socially responsible approach to gaming, highly commended customer service and fully-optimised mobile bingo experience.
Dawn Howe, Head of Marketing at tombola bingo explains why winning the award is a fantastic pinnacle following tombola’s efforts over the past year:
“The accolade is cause for huge celebration here at tombola. Although it’s an award that we’ve won three times before, it’s something that we never take for granted, and this only works to contribute to our success.
“We are delighted, we really are. We’ve had a good year and it’s nice to be recognised within the industry for that.”
By constantly curating new bingo games, developing current work and being passionate about building the tombola brand, both in the UK and internationally, the company are always working towards a bigger and brighter future, for both their brand and players alike.
Susanne Kennedy, Head of Customer Experience, did a great job of summing up how prestigious these awards are within the industry: “The eGR awards are like the Bingo BAFTAs, and as the UK’s biggest bingo site, we’ve scooped the award that holds the most weight in that respect.”
Phil Cronin, Chief Executive of tombola, also commented: “It’s a real feather in our cap, as we were up against the biggest names in gaming. I’m thrilled for the whole tombola team; the award is recognition of their hard work, dedication and innovation.”
