We know many of you love to play tombola bingo games whilst on the move using your trusty smartphones and tablets. This is why we created the tombola bingo app – so it’s even easier to play; whether this means simply sitting on your sofa and playing tombola on your mobile or tablet whilst watching telly, or when you are out and about and fancy a quick game on your mobile phone!
You may have noticed that just last week we launched an exciting, brand new tombola game called Pulse. Pulse is a special game for us, as it is our first game designed specifically for mobile gaming on smartphones and tablets. You can play games every few seconds and win a £20,000 jackpot playing on your laptop or on the App on tablet and mobile. That got us thinking – isn’t it amazing how far technology has come?
So, to celebrate the release of Pulse, we are taking a nostalgic look back through the years at all of the classic handheld and mobile gaming systems we enjoyed in our youth. We will follow them right up to the cutting edge mobile gaming systems of today, and offer a little glimpse into what the future could have in store for mobile gaming.
Our ‘Evolution of Mobile Gaming‘ feature covers fifteen of the most important mobile gaming systems released since it all began, way back in 1976 (yes, in the Seventies!). It’s incredible to think that people have enjoyed gaming on the move for almost forty years now.
Of course the actual gaming systems used have come a very long way indeed – from simple black and white screens with big, chunky pixels, to enormous full-colour HD screens with incredibly life-like graphics. If you’re anything like us though, you’ll agree that the oldies are the best, so if you loved playing Tetris on your Nintendo Game Boy or perhaps Sonic the Hedgehog on your Sega Game Gear, you’ll be sure to love this.
We have also included the original TV ads for many of the systems – see how many you remember and tell us your favourite mobile gaming memories in the comments below!
