Need some flexibility around your hours of work? No problem! tombola allows you to come in late or leave early (within reason!) to help you achieve the best work-life balance possible


No one goes hungry here at tombola, we have an on-site cafe where all meals, chocolate, fruit and drinks are FREE! We also have a thing called 'Super Snacks'; all our offices get a monthly allowance for tea, coffee and biscuits.


Not everyone loves the gym but not everyone has a FREE gym in their office! With top of the range equipment our staff can enjoy a workout then freshen up using one of the office showers. For home workers, we also offer subsidised membership.


The future is important and we help our staff plan for theirs by offering a 5% matched pension scheme.


Who’d of thought there would be FREE car parking right next to the city centre?! Well there’s just that at tombola. The car park is right opposite the building so no need to walk far.


Our staff can peddle to and from work if they want to be that little bit healthier and help cut carbon emissions whilst they're at it. Our office is located on the river bank which has some great cycle routes.


We love a good party and we like to celebrate with everyone. We have a summer and Christmas family fun day every year, which brings staff and their families together. The events go down a treat with everyone and they include: live music, face painting, photo booths, real size dodgems, waltzers and wait for it…free bar and food. We use any excuse to get together, to name a few, bowling, beer, food, cinema, music and dancing.


There’s no dress code at tombola, we’re all just pretty casual. However, our staff have access to tombola goodies such as hooded tops, polo shirts and onesies. They come in all sorts of colours and we let staff decide theirs.


We’re in an excellent location, a short walk from the city centre so should our staff want to hop on the Metro then there are two Metro stations just a few minute’s walk away (Sunderland and St. Peter’s). To save on travel costs, we offer access to a corporate POP card to allow for discounted travel on the Metro.

Holidays


We’re all for helping our staff progress and we do this by offering in-house training, whether its management development, technical skills, team working communication, or responsible gambling, the support is always there. As well as this, if courses and conferences are available to help our staff develop or to just broaden their horizons, then we’d support this too. In many of our roles, we offer protected time during the working day. This is to allow for research into latest developments to help for personal development.


Our full time staff get 25 paid days holiday plus bank holidays. We also offer pro rata arrangements for those working under 37.5 hours per week.


Health is important, so we offer a free healthcare scheme for all employees. This includes access to our occupational health consultants to help manage any health issues in relation to work.


We know childcare is expensive, to help with the cost, we provide a scheme which enables tax savings on childcare costs.


If our staff want their own PC, MAC, laptop or tablet, we will purchase it for them and they pay it back interest free over 6 months. A tablet that is compatible for testing tombola products, will get a 20% discount.
