abbiecat : tombola bundle of laughs
I would like to say thank you to everyone at tombola and the studios for giving me the opportunity to be part of the Emmerdale bumper. It was a truly unforgettable day and I enjoyed every moment. It was great putting faces to names that I have seen in the chat rooms and of course the CM's that were there on the day. It was plain to see that everyone was having a fantastic time. I have met new friends who I am in regular contact with through facebook and of course mytombola lol. Thank you once again, this really was one of my best days ever. |

ALNESSADEN : he's a friendly fella
Thank you so much for a wonderful day from the second I walked into the Studio, to the moment I said my goodbyes, your staff did all they could to make my day one to remember for good reasons. I want to say there were so many wonderful people off the site to meet and get to know in person I was overwhelmed. CM Cindertoffee. I am watching you!!! One special little lady spent most of her time laughing at my urge to scratch at my make-up, she knows who she is don't you - MINI MUM from Scotland. My cartoon pic now has been framed and has pride of place in our lounge, my wife's choice not mine lol.
I just can't say just how much fun I had there it will be a day to remember it is on a par with my sons wedding and the birth of my first Granddaughter (and only one as she had a brother next lol). If I was ever asked to do something like this again I would jump at the chance and even bring my Santa outfit with me. |

am100other : got it covered in bingo 80
I'd just like to say, I'd never done anything like that before and never travelled to London before, I had a great weekend though and everyone was just fantastic at the shoot, I really really had a great experience and will be something I will remember always. I was on holiday when I received the call to say I was picked, I now speak to everyone on Facebook, Bebo and mytombola of everybody I met and had a great laugh with during the day. My family, friends, workmates and all the parents and children at the nursery I work in all look for me on the TV, it’s been a great experience and would do it again, thank you tombola for the opportunity. |

BENNETT1966 : tombola action man
It was a great laugh, who would have thought that make up, wet suits and massages were all to feature! It was nice to meet so many other bingo people from around the country and it's good to see them on the TV and remind me of the day we spent together in Teddington. I can honestly say that it is the first time I have had make up applied before a photo shoot and the relaxing massages were fab as well! The day was a riot, with some of the fancy dress and cross dressing people I chatted with, but blimey, that diving wetsuit was a tad warm under the lights. I know why they call it a wet suit!!! Even my goggles steamed up. |

btsteve : Always stops to say hello
What a day I had, well two days actually, lol. It started
the day before when I arrived at the train station to find
that the tickets I had booked online had mysteriously vanished.
I asked the clerk to check my reservation number she said
it didn't exist? I asked if I could buy a return ticket
there and then. She said "of course but we don't take
solo cards" which is, by the way all I had with me.
I asked if there was a cash machine close by so I could
go get cash to pay for the tickets and was told yes
just round the corner. So off I went, yet when i returned
5 minutes later with the cash the clerk has closed
up and gone home. This is not the best start to my theatrical
debut I thought lol. But not wanting to miss the day I
decided to go home get the car and drive the 182 miles
to London from Doncaster. Not forgetting I had done a
days work beforehand and it was now 930p.m. By the time
I got to Watford I was completely shattered so I pulled
into the services for a quick nap in the car. Needless
to say I slept quite a while and did not arrive in London
until 330a.m. Up again at 7a.m. for the bus to the studios
and breakfast, I bet I will look fabulous on TV lol.
On the other hand it was worth every
minute meeting the CMs, what a lovely bunch they are!!!
THANKS TOMBOLA!!!!!! |
