Day 1 of TV shoot - posted Tuesday 28th July

We’re all early birds today, got up at 5am. It’s going to be an exciting day as we’re shooting the first TV ad! Woohoooo. All the hard work is finally paying off, let’s get ready to rock and roll with the first ad.

The crew are working their butts off today, they left the hotel at 5:30 am and the rigging was all up by the time I arrived on set.

At first, I was a bit disappointed we didn’t have first choice for the shoot location. But who cares now? (not me). It’s absolutely gorgeous and will look fantastic on screen.

All was going well until half way through the day, when the director decided he needed more extras (which we didn’t have). So who’s one of the extras? Well, me! So there I go for the next three hours in front of the camera. I was so out of my comfort zone, but it was a right laugh. However, I refuse to point myself out on the advert to you!

This ad has the funniest outtakes which we’ll post on our YouTube channel when available so you can have a good laugh too. On the last scene, the ‘host’ falls into some bushes as he is saying ‘Ola tombola’, the whole crew lost all professional integrity and burst out laughing at him. Definitely one for the outtakes short list!
