Day 4 of TV shoot - posted Friday 31st July

Yey, the final day of the shoot is here, we even had a lie in and we didn’t have to get up until 7.15am. Luxury!

Everything and everyone is chilled out today. Everyone seems confident nothing will go wrong on the last day or was it just wishful thinking?

Perhaps at this point it would make a great story to have high drama on the last day with some disaster that we managed to get over eventually, but for the sake of my health I’m very pleased to report – everything did go smoothly and according to plan. But please read on, it’s good stuff!

The director decided he wanted the last shot for the closing scene to be set at sunset. After the stress of ’backing singer’ I’m not sure I was so keen. The sun goes down incredibly fast and early here so we had to rehearse rehearse reherse to get it spot on! BUT, the director was right, it made the scene, it looks fantastic. It was a great feeling when the First Assistant Director shouted ‘that’s a WRAP for the commercial’ see the video link to watch it.

We all felt very proud and delighted at that moment, the cast and crew have worked so hard, I know the ads will be superb. I can’t wait to see the first edit. The weather even held out for us at the right times. You’ll be able to see the final ads for yourselves in just a few weeks. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing us develop these ads and laughed with us along the way, what a week!
