Joining the tombola bingo affiliate program

What is a bingo affiliate program?

A bingo affiliate program allows you (the affiliate) to promote a bingo operator (tombola) on your website. Then when a user on your website clicks on a link to the tombola website, signs up, deposits and stakes on tombola you start earning commission.


Is it free to join the tombola bingo affiliate program?

Yes it is totally free to join the tombola bingo affiliate program.


How do I join the tombola affiliate program?

All you need to do to join is fill out our registration form.


Can I register more than one website?

Yes, once your application has been approved you can add multiple websites to your affiliate account.


I don’t have a website. Can I still become a bingo affiliate?

You can if you have an alternative way of promoting tombola such as through email campaigns or PPC.  We ask for a default website when you sign-up so if you plan to use another method of promotion please contact us so we can process your application as quickly as possible.


How long does it take to join the tombola affiliate program?

The registration form will only take you a few minutes to complete, once completed we will review your website and approve you application within two working days.


How do I start earning money?

Once accepted on to our online bingo affiliate program all you have to do is add our banners to your site to start earning. You will be allocated a unique referral URL to allow us to track your referrals.


Affiliate Marketing Tools

What marketing tools are available?

We have a wide range of marketing tools including gif and flash banners as well as landing pages, HTML emails, XML feeds, screenshots, promotional content and text links available to our bingo affiliates. All can be found in the marketing tools of the affiliate login area.


How do I get access to the marketing tools?

All you need to do is click here to login to the affiliate area, then go to marketing tools.


How are the banners served?

All you need to do to add banners to your site is to go into the banner manager and copy the full banner code onto your site. We will host the banners on our server and they will be displayed on your site. This means that when we change banners you don’t need to do anything, they’ll automatically update on your site.


How will I be informed of player promotions and special events?

All of our bingo affiliates get a monthly newsletter with details of all the latest promotions, game developments and news stories. We also send out regular text mailers with additional bingo promotions and news. If there’s any additional content you’d like just let us know and we’ll pull it together for you.


Can I use tombola logos and content on my site?

Yes, you can use our logos and game graphics on your website, if there are any specific sizes you need just get in touch and we’ll sort them out for you.


Can I bid on brand term keywords when using PPC?

Bidding on brand terms (including exclusive game names) on any search engine or online database is strictly prohibited. Bingo affiliates who breach these terms and conditions will be removed from the tombola bingo affiliate program.


Reporting and tracking

How does tombola know that someone has registered via my site/links?

tombola uses unique tracking ID’s to determine where a player has originated. When a player visits tombola via one of the tracking links we have provided, a cookie is dropped onto their computer. This cookie contains your affiliate ID. When that player opens an account with tombola, the registration is linked with your ID via the cookie.


How long is the cookie duration?

A cookie is valid for 30 days. This means that a player could navigate away from tombola but provided they return within 30 days, you will be credited with the registration


How can I check my earnings?

All you need to do is click here to login to the affiliate area and go to reports.  There are a number of reports where you can check your traffic, earnings and player signups.


How often is the data updated?

Clicks and impressions are updated in real time, registrations and revenue statistics are updated every 24 hours.


Commissions and payment

How much can I earn?

You can earn up to 50% revenue share. Revenue share is paid for the first twelve months after a player has registered. If you choose the CPA commission you can earn up to £35 per player. Click here to find out more about our commission structures.


How is my commission calculated?

As one of our bingo affiliates, you can earn between 35% - 50% of net revenue. Net revenue is the profit we make from that player minus transactional costs. Revenue share is paid for the first twelve months after a player has registered.

If you are on the CPA commission structure you’ll earn between £25 - £35 per player every time a player stakes £25.

What payment methods can I choose from?

You can receive payment by bank transfer or cheque. Simply select your preferred payment method when you signup.

 

When will I get paid?

You will be paid by the 15th of each month.


What is the minimum amount I can get paid?

We don’t believe in holding on to your money, so we have set the payment threshold at:

£10 if you choose to be paid by UK bank transfer
£50 by cheque
£100 by international bank transfer


Account problems

I have lost my username and/or password?

All you need to do is click here and enter your email address and we’ll email you your username and password.


How can I modify my personal details?

If you want to change your personal details login to the affiliate area and select account details in the ‘my account’ drop down menu.

General

Where is tombola’s licence issued?

tombola is licensed under the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Note to new affiliates to the online gambling industry: Gambling sites need to be governed by a body which has been white listed within the EU (such as Alderney); if you promote a site which is not white listed then you may be prosecuted.


Does tombola accept players who are based outside of the UK?

tombola currently only accepts players from the UK.
